We wanted to do a fashion related post, yet couldn't decide what to cover..so Danielle is covering the Couture Shows and Sara is chatting about Street Style:
Couture shows are my favorite. I love the imagination, the whimsy, the excitement. People always ask me what is the point, since a lot of the clothes cannot ever be worn. I say it's all about the ideas, what they represent. You see the themes of the couture shows in the designers ready to wear collections. Here are my three favorite looks from last weeks Paris shows:
Dior.
This look is SOO Mad Men.
Lacroix. I love the lace. This was his final collection.
Valentino.
Something about the pop of leather on the gown makes it bad ass.
I'm off to England in a couple weeks, and I thought I would search for some trends happening across the pond.
