Meet Garance

Continuing with the French theme of the day, I'd like to introduce you to Garance. She writes a lovely blog that she's only recently begun translating to English. There's a bit more about her career here.

Since the lifestyle of French women is so en vogue right now {but isn't it always?}, I thought I'd share a post she wrote {interviewed by Joanna from ACupofJo} on how to best capture the chic vibe of a French women. It's a fab read and a good reminder that like most beautiful things, it comes from within. Take a look.

Teen Vogue {France}

I've heard whisperings of a possible biannual French Teen Vogue. What a bible of inspiration that would be...and so interesting considering the state of the media and magazines especially.

This one to be specific! This cocktail ring from JCrew is to DIE for. And moderately priced to boot. Yes please.

So Pretty..

I am loving these sweet floral adornments from handle & spout. The headband is whimsical and airy and the clips are sweet pops of color. They are fairly priced and a fun way to dress up a casual outfit.

Love their necklaces too - so simple and understated. And who doesn't love matryoshka dolls?!

New York City

Even as the economy spirals out of control and the media industry continues to lose big players, I've been thinking more and more about what life could be like in New York City. 

I've never been and don't know if I could stand to up and leave my family and friends. And I live in a pretty amazing city already. But NYC does seem like the center of the world sometimes, doesn't it?
