A Alicia Handmade

Love the pops of color these felt brooches provide. Bet they'd be pretty easy to make too.

Barbie Lips

Love this Beauty Board by the girls over at WhoWhatWear

Pink is proven universally flattering by these diverse beauties. I picked up a few choices by MAC and love them: Lustering {a light lipstick} and a Lustreglass Gloss that I can't find on the website.

Lip color is such a fun way to add color to your look - what are your favorite lip colors?

Welp

I got the bathing suit I ordered, and while I love the bottoms, the top looks like a giant bra. I guess I should've seen that coming.

So, I ordered the matching top {I hadn't noticed that it had a removable strap before} and paid to have it sent overnight {hate that} so that I can have it by this weekend! Wish me luck..

Crazy Clouds

San Francisco is known for its unstable weather -- we started last week with a high of 92 degrees before plummeting to 55 degrees Thursday. My friend Amanda took this shot as the weather was changing..

Don't those clouds look like hot pink cotton candy?

Big & Bold

Jordan blogged about this jewlery line today and I am smitten with these colorful statement pieces.

Swimsuit + The Nutritionista

So, I finally decided on a swimsuit {it should arrive tomorrow}!

I went with this top from Victoria's Secret:

And these bottoms from J. Crew.

Here's hoping they look okay together!

In the same vein, I came across this great website today: The Nutritionista. Lots of tips for those who are trying to eat better as well as suggestions for easy, delicious meals {with pictures - love that!}

SF Lovin' + Call For Help

Some great things are going down in SF this weekend!

First, we have Sunday Streets! Streets running from AT&T Park to Aquatic Park will be closed to vehicles so that we can roam free and enjoy the outdoors! There will be free "dancing, yoga, skating, biking, walking, hula hooping and just people watching." Sounds fantastic, right? Here's a bit more from the website:

Ciclovía, literally “bike path” in Spanish, is a ground-breaking event that started in Bogotá, Colombia. This weekly event draws more than 1.5 million people to walk, bike, skate and enjoy more than 70 miles of streets opened to people – and closed to automobile traffic – every week.

Nearly 20% of this city’s population turns out every Sunday and holiday to participate in the 7 am to 2 pm event, which includes unparalleled free recreation and social opportunities, including dance and yoga lessons in the city’s streets and local parks.

Cannot WAIT!

Next we have the Indie Mart held at the Independent on Divisadero and Grove. Local designers of all sorts will be here.

Finally, in less awesome news {though the response HAS been awesome}, this local SF mother needs your help. Please go here and see all the details and ways you can provide even the smallest bit of love to her and her children.

Have a swell weekend!

I just ordered this gorgeous print from Kristybee Photography. More dreamy shots below. She also has a blog that you can check out here.

Lullie Vintage + Luphia

Luphia from Luphia Loves shared this fab vintage eBay store today: Lullie Vintage.

There are some GREAT dresses there - I need the 90 degree weather to come back to SF so I can rock these frocks. Below are some of my faves.

This Sounds Familiar..

Joy blogged about this winery today and I just had to post about it. I am in LOVE for obvious reasons. I wish I could adopt it as my own.

Fainting Sofa

How fabulous is this fainting sofa by Urban Outfitters

It would go great in my entryway and would be the perfect place to collapse after a days work and let Andie smother me with kisses.

Weeder's Digest

Loving these shots from the weekly floral column at design*sponge.

Tissue Ruffle Tee

I love this tee from J Crew. I am consistently drawn to simple, classic clothes with interesting cuts and details

How Perfectly Paris

Amber blogged about a site she just came across...it's called Perfectly Paris and is all about vacation rentals in Paris.

I could spend all day daydreaming about this, couldn't you?

Interview with a Gossip Girl

Last weekend's Time Magazine ran an interview with the lovely Leighton Meester {you might know her better as Blair}.

Love that she still seems pretty down to earth -- rare for such a young, successful star.

R Bils at InStyle

The queen of casual boho-chic, Rachel Bilson just landed a fashion editor position at InStyle magazine

Apparently she'll pen a column in a Q&A format each month -- an interesting careeth path for an actress! I'm excited to see how successful it is with magazines folding left and right.

Glamour Bikini

How do we feel about this bathing suit? It comes in black too and I love the shape of it. It's $145, which is more than I like to spend on such little fabric, but might be worth it. Don't get me started on the look on the model's face.

I am also digging these bikini bottoms from J. Crew. I like the thick sides and how they indicate how glamorous I am. Is it weird that I like them more laying flat than I do on the model {you'll have to go to the site to see}? I do have hips after all...

Share some swimsuits you've been lusting over.

Flora Grubb + Earth Day

Jessica Chamberlain of Sunset magazine is guest-blogging over at design*sponge this week. She has an interview with Flora Grubb of Flora Grubb Gardens which is located here in San Francisco...it looks like a glorious garden of serenity, doesn't it? Check the full post out here.

In the same vein, are any of you doing anything for Earth Day tomorrow?

Weekend Highlights

I had THE most amazing weekend. It was a dreamy 85 degrees in San Francisco and I took full advantage.

-M and I got burritos and ate dinner by the water at Aquatic Park Friday night.

-Up early Saturday for the follow-up to Jordan's letterpress class {more on that later}. We ate at Ti Couz, a little french creperie on 16th and Valencia afterwards and it was delish.

-My mom and sister came out to celebrate my mom's birthday. We walked up and down Fillmore, spent some quality time at Paper Source {heaven!} and then headed back to the Mission for dinner at Beretta.

-I spent Sunday lazing at Dolores Park with 20 of my closest friends before heading north to have dinner with my family.

-While checking my email before bed last night, I discovered that I won the Bambako giveaway over at coco + kelley!

Totally and completely perfect.

On More Thing

Please head over to snippet & ink and check out the details of this amazing wedding. I would kill a man for that Valentino dress.

Hope you're all enjoying your day!

One Hundred One

Hi lovelies - I don't know how I missed this, but I made my 100th post yesterday without so much as a peep!

To make up for it, I've decided to have a little giveaway. Leave a comment on this post before Friday at 5 p.m. {PST} and I'll choose a winner at random. Sound like a plan? To make things a little more fun, in your comment please include a link to something you LOVE. I will include them in a round-up next week.

Hip hip!

Greenware Design

I saw these lovely little potted plants featured somewhere recently...can't recall where. Can you?

I love the sweet vessels they come in as well as the fact that they're filled with low-maintenance succulents. Just the thing to dress up my cubicle.
