Untitled

Well, somehow November slipped through my fingers and here we are on the first day of the last month of 2009. Wow.

I am SO looking forward to this next month. I love nothing more than celebrating little things, spending time with people I love most and generally being jolly (something I am not most of the time).

I've been a deadbeat blogger, it's true. But sometimes you can't force something, you know? I hope you forgive me.

Karin Bubas

I have to admit as a LC loyalist, I haven't watched one second of The Hills since her departure last season, but these chalk pastels by Karin Bubas made me smile. She captures each of them perfectly, does she not?

New at Paper Source

A few noteworthy things have come out of Paper Source lately.

First, this tabletop letterpress! I'd definitely want to test it before buying it, but this could change the way that letterpress becomes available to the masses. Hmm.

And then these adorable suitcases. Pretty much a prop stylists dream and a sweet way to package invitations too.

Loving..

this mantel by the OnceWed team via d*s.

I've seen a lot of "nature in the home" in the blog world (and real world too!) and I have to say that I LOVE the look of a randomly placed branch. So stark, but it brings some warmth in a way I can't put my finger on.

How Do We Feel..

About this look? I love the idea of knee and thigh-highs, but have concerns about the proper execution. One wrong accessory and it can quickly go the way of naughty schoolgirl and, well, that's ALL bad.

Hair Raiser

I think hair accessories are the single most effective way to bring flair to an otherwise basic outfit.

Some of my favorite seasonal picks are below. So femme and glittery! Feel free to share your favorites in the comments - I can't get enough.

Hunter Dixon

Joy blogged about Hunter Dixon earlier today and had to check them out. She was dead on - I am loving the little details and I have a real soft spot for ruffles lately.

Swoon.

Speaking of Joy, if you haven't checked out her new food blog, Happy Lady Eats, you should! Gorgeous food photography and mini-reviews for those of you in the San Diego area.

I Know, I Know

There's no real excuse for the silence over here. I will say there's been a lot of reflection, realization going on. We'll see how that materializes in the next few months...

I'll leave you with this pretty picture for now, but promise there will be more posts today! Lots of catching up to do! xx

Wine Bottle Vases

I like flowers + I like wine = This great idea.

Clean, simple, I love it.

Seen here, of course.

Dolci Odille

I feel like you almost don't need a reason to use these gorgeous garlands by Dolci Odille, a letterpress and design company.

I'd love these strung over my bed. Would make for some sweet dreams, don't you think?

Mika78

I think I've blogged about Mika78 before, but if you haven't visited her blog before, you must go now. She finds the most beautifully intricate things.

I usually get annoyed when people describe themselves as curators, but I think she is one who deserves it. To be clear, she doesn't call herself that -- I was being universal :)

Some recent eye candy she's posted:

The work of Penelope Dullaghan and this gorgeous font by Sascha Timplan.

Oh, Hello November

These last two weeks have been such a whirlwind, it hasn't truly set in that it's November! Can you believe it? Thanksgiving will be here in a mere 3 weeks and then it's full speed ahead to the holidays. Wow.

The weeks go by so quickly this time of year, I need some ideas of things to do to truly appreciate this season. Think...hot cider and twirling around in leaves. What are your favorite seasonal activities?

Images here, here here, and here.

Precious

The details from this wedding are so spot on, I can't take it.

And I missed you all.
