January can be such a long, cold, stark month after the cheery hoopla that the holidays bring. I am always a bit relieved when February hits because the holiday hangover has worn off and we're that much closer to Spring!
Get ready for Valentine's Day overload around here. Not because I am a huge fan of the holiday, but because I AM a huge fan of the feminine overdose of pink and red that comes with it. For a few weeks anyway. How do you feel about Valentine's Day? Any particular way that you celebrate?

I love celebrating with friends on Valentine's Day... friends are the best kind of Valentines. And, I too.. love all the pink and red colors that can be found all over. I made red velvet pancakes Saturday morning just to get into the February spirit!! Hope all is lovely!! xo

I personally have always loved valentine' day. my mom would always get me a small present so it was always a fun holiday for me boyfriend or not.
My bf and I will be celebrating this year in Tahoe where we rented a cabin for the long weekend, plus a few extra days off :)
