Hello loves, today I am sharing what inspires me via the Blog It Forward project put together by the prolific and always, always inspiring Victoria of sfgirlbybay. What started out as a little brainstorming on Twitter turned into a relay race of sorts with about 300 bloggers participating! Impressive, aye?

So, without further ado...what inspires me?
Clean, interesting typography - I think my love of fonts and typography comes from the fact that I love to read. My preferred medium changes quite a bit, but my mom introduced me to the public library at a young age and I've been hooked ever since. So much can be said literally {obviously} and figuratively with each single letter. The written {or typed, or printed, or...} word is a beautiful thing.

If you're interested in learning more, here are some great sites for you to peruse: we love typography, designworklife.
Next...
I am consistently drawn to and inspired by interiors that blend natural elements with something a little more glam. Faux fur, gilded mirrors, lucite, all of the above!

Any and all things letterpress. I was fortunate enough to take a letterpress class from Jordan Ferney last year and it's amazing how much work goes into creating each little gem. A little known fact is that the imprint is not supposed to be too deep. The press should barely "kiss" the paper. Romantic, isn't it?

{my cards - sorry for the awful photo!}

Sunday suppers with my familia - No I've never participated in the super cool experience that is the real Sunday Suppers, but I DO come from a large, partially Italian family who believes in having a full meal together {and by together I do mean together - there are usually about 14 of us} a few Sundays each month.
I cherish these nights with my family and am continuously inspired by how important we all are to one another and how serene I feel as I head into my week.

Last, but certainly not least...the most inspiring place of all: San Francisco!
I moved to this city more than five years ago for school and wasn't sure what to make of it. I lived near campus {read: out in the boondocks} and it wasn't until I moved closer to the heart of SF that I truly felt what this place is all about.
So, there you have it! While it's virtually impossible to contain all that inspires me in one single post, this gives you a good idea of the things that keep me going, pushing me towards creative enlightenment.
Now, a few others who are sharing the love along with me today: Art Yowza, Pure Green, Smidge, drywell, jack+jenn, the goode life, Lovely Little Nest, Charm City Daily, & WeightWars.
Thanks again, Victoria ♥

love the interiors you chose :)
I really enjoyed reading this and am inspired by all of the same things. San Francisco is such a beautiful city.. I ran the US Half Marathon there in November and had the opportunity to run across the Golden Gate Bridge. Absolutely breathtaking. If I ever move out west it will definitely be to San Fran.
Great blog.. glad I found you!

Very charming + honest.
It's so important to love the city you live in. I can't imagine putting down roots anywhere where I couldn't feel inspired.
LOVE this post. I totally understand when you say it's impossible to write down all your inspirations in one post! You did a great job summarizing though :)
