Could This Woman..

Be more beautiful? I don't think so.

This dress gets me excited for spring. Gorgeous colors and detailing...and all those layers.

Farewell Coco

What a great way to say goodbye. Cynicism is something I am frequently guilty of and definitely something that needs to be kept in check. We'd all be better people if we could see the world through genuine eyes, no?

Have a happy weekend! xx

East Egg Glamour

Could this 20s-inspired dress be more beautiful? I don't think it's possible. The draping, the sequins, the tulle - it's too much. Apparently the bride is a Marie Claire fashion editor.

The Great Gatsby is one of my all-time favorites - what brilliant inspiration for a wedding!

Hitchcock Hollywood

Stunning photography {as always} from Vanity Fair. Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard are the perfect classic beauties for these iconic shots.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Here are some look-book shots from the new H&M Garden Collection. Pretty dreamy, but I refuse to let myself get excited until I see the craftsmanship and quality.

Seen here & here.

Druzy Jewels

Some stunning jewelry going into Emily's Etsy shop come Monday - hooray!

Midas Touch

There's something so gorgeously majestic about big, gold mirrors.

Oh, Hello

Two things I need today. Or payday, I guess.

Deborah Lippman Happy Birthday varnish and J. Crew Toothpick zipper jeans. Swoon.

Wee Bit Personal

I don't usually post things like this, but I can't resist. My two nieces had a dance recital last weekend and it was the first for Mia, my younger, more rough and tumble niece.

She resisted putting on that yellow polka dot bikini (it wasn't really a bikini - she's only three after all), and refused to wear the sequined ankle bracelets (what?) at all, but in the end she got on that stage and shook it like any three-year-old should and it was hands down, the sweetest thing ever.

Speaking of Books

Did anyone else know this was happening? I didn't, but I sure am enthused!

Do Your Best

Is anyone else excited for Kelly Cutrone's book? I love that it's called "If You Have to Cry, Go Outisde" (advice I've taken once or twice). I follow Whitney Port on Twitter (creepy, right?) and apparently Kelly sent this to her in an email today.

You've likely heard it all before, but if you're at all like me, you could use a little refresher.

- Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
- Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
- Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
- When you say, 'I love you ,' mean it.
- When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
- Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
- Believe in love at first sight.
- Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
- Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
- In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
- Don't judge people by their relatives.
- Talk slowly but think quickly.
- When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
- Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
- Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
- When you lose, don't lose the lesson !
- Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions.
- Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship..
- When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
- Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice..
- Spend some time alone.

Vintage Typewriters and Birdcages, Oh My

Beautiful details from this wedding. The vintage typewriters and birdcages are my favorites, but the free hanging light bulbs and moss are nice touches too.
